Woman thinking the network marketing business

The Network Marketing Business Ups & Downs

The network marketing business reality…The last few days have been stunning and the weather has been perfect. Few of us have been suffering from the symptoms of spring fever, while others struggle with the levels of pollen. This time of year always makes me think about the coming decline in networking activity that happens during summer. I’d like to spend the time to talk about this trend, I believe it could be the reason behind it.

Let’s begin the fall season. This time of the year, we’re tirelessly acquiring new customers because we know that during the holidays, things slow down. It’s easy to become distracted from business as you approach the holidays. Some find it difficult to get in touch as the holiday season begins.

The holidays come and go. We start to ramp up our marketing and networking efforts to the max attending numerous meetings every week, in an effort to make the process back on track. This results in increased revenue and business. Have you noticed at the beginning of February, things begin to accelerate at a frantic pace? If this happens, we back off our promotional efforts until we are able to complete the work required by the marketing efforts.

The network ups and downs of marketing business

In essence, we cease networking. We cease contact with the contacts we’ve been making and seeking referrals. They begin to feel like we have no interest in them anymore. In this case, it’s possible that they will seek out an alternative source to contact when they discover the target customer.

From mid-summer to early the time has come to emerge from the load and seek out opportunities. Summer vacation is here! Kids have been given a few days off from school. It is therefore extremely difficult this time around to locate the contacts that were available when our business started picking back up late last winter.

In mid-August, the school is back in session, and people are returning to the social world. Of course, we’re seeing the same people who previously attended but there are lots of new faces, too. As we were lagging in our marketing efforts, we weren’t present to greet new people as they launched their new ventures. Therefore, those who have an enlightened marketing and networking strategy are present to welcome them.

They are the ones who run businesses that appear to grow. They have a networking and marketing strategy that is constant throughout the year. While many businesses are experiencing this new business surge in spring, the owners of businesses are ready to take on the new business by hiring new employees or temporary staff. They know that to maintain growth, they must anticipate any change in the market that might boost their company up to the next stage.

How we can do this?

First, you must plan for growth. In case you need more help than you can handle, set up a system to make sure you have assistance available. We help clients find jobs by establishing connections with headhunters, temp agencies, and placement firms. Find contractors on a temporary basis, if needed. This can save cash on salaries and benefits in times when the pace is slow. Also, it reduces the amount of paperwork needed when it comes to processing payroll and taxation.

Create a plan for networking that you can control. Create a target in terms of the number of meetings you will attend when you’re business isn’t great and follow through when your business improves. Participate in events all year long even during the festive season.

Make plans for vacations as needed However, don’t think that everyone will go on vacation because it’s the time of summer. A majority of people have to work around their schedules with others, and whole companies typically don’t take vacations simultaneously. It is important to note that large businesses always have staff ready to work while employees are off on vacation. Be aware that big corporations don’t reduce their advertising just because it’s the month of December or July. They continue to promote it all year long.

The importance of network for your marketing business

The point: should you wish to expand into a larger firm, you should look at what big businesses are doing. Imitate them if you are successful and you might be able to replicate their success. To continue bringing in business throughout the year, it’s important to keep on top of networking, marketing, and promoting. If you opt to take a break and go off because things are going well and you are in good shape, I am sure that in the fall, you’ll have to work twice as much time to get things moving again. If however, you are able to continue advertising the way you did in the past when things were slow, you’ll see the growth of your business and savings account throughout the year.
